This is place is for real! Down home Mexican cooking that you can only find in a grandma's kitchen deep in the heartland of soul south of the border. Stews and soups rule here and all are prepared by home cooks hired by the owner not professional chefs. Rich, deep flavors that are stewed slowly... Que sabrosa!

Carnitas are slowly roasted with the fat rendered off but the intense flavor is out of this world. All kinds of different stew with many chili blends and even mole have all of the mexican brethren in central San Diego come a running here....

This place is a rare find, as a matter of fact I have NEVER experienced this kind of mexican cuisine anywhere!! Now please...... Stay in business!!!!
